Brave Hearts Welfare Foundation
Voice of Soldier
Sometimes, even the mentally strong people who think they can withstand any adversity in their life also feel extremely low. They may also have suicidal tendencies. So, we figured out that suicide not only hits the fragile minds but anyone can be a victim of such mental state. Brave Hearts Welfare Foundation (BHWF) is an NGO that is engaged in prevention of Suicide, Counselling, mentoring and Stress management. BHWF has launched India’s First Suicide Prevention Lifeline / Crisis Lifeline for Indian Armed Forces, Paramilitary, Police forces, their families and all those people who are in some kind of emotional /psychological turmoil. We saved many precious lives and we will continue to do so till the end.
Brave Hearts Salutes all those people who have gone through extreme trauma in their past life and stood against it to change their destiny. They are our heroes. They are our Brave Hearts.
Join us as Volunteer and help us to know such people in society. Their real-life experiences and stories will help others to overcome the struggles of life.

PROJECT- 1 India’s 1st Suicide Prevention Helpline
Back in 2014, every second day, we heard cases of suicide from the Indian armed forces. I(Kunwar Devender Singh) came across many suicidal people and had personal interactions with them.
Sometimes, even the mentally strong people who think they can withstand any adversity in their life also feel extremely low. They may also have suicidal tendencies. So, we figured out that suicide not only hits the fragile minds but anyone can be a victim of such mental state.
We performed research on the cases of suicides and the numbers were mind-boggling. According to reports, the Indian Army tops the World Militaries with the highest suicide rate. Also, there was a session in the Parliament where an MP raised this issue of the suicides in the Indian Armed Forces due to the alarming suicide figures in the Indian Army.
We are working on diverse causes presently such as suicide prevention, controlling crime, training people about the use of the internet, raising voice for any form of injustice, among others. We aim to prevent and help people get through the traumatic situations and struggles in their lives.
